I forgot how much it sucked working Saturdays and Sundays during football season. I wonder if I can get away with wearing an XM radio on the floor to listen to the games. GameCast is my new best friend.
I'm in the library at Cypress College. Bored out of my mind. I've been researching for my History paper for the past couple hours through various search engines. Waiting for Jacqueline to get out of class...less than an hour now. I'm a mess at the moment - sitting here unshowered, un-teeth-brushed, in basketball shorts (with no underwear), my Longhorns hat to cover my matted hair and a wrinkled polo that I found crumpled up in the backseat of my car. This is what poor anticipation does to you. Stay on campus she said...eh I think...drive around the parking lot twice and now i find myself on my third hour in the library. At least I'll be prepared for class tonight - aside from those 200 pages i needed to read and didn't. That book's at home. Getting hungry, still tired, getting looks from people around me because my typing is loud.
Classes start tomorrow, so it's not really summer anymore. But the SUMMER DIET BLOG!!! will shift into a FALL DIET BLOG!!! whenever that day comes. But for now, we tred on...
I Play Sports with Racquets! Firstly, I participated in some Racquetballing with SUMMER DIET BLOG FAN #1 Stephen last Friday. I sucked, it was hot as anything - a sad reminder that I haven't really played competative sports in three years. Then today me and summer diet blogetter Jacqueline hit Play it Again Sports to buy me a tennis racquet! Now we're on a quest to find free courts to play on as our SUMMER DIET 2005!!! bank accounts are gnat filled.
As far as food goes, I love unhealthy food. It's delicious, and I have no willpower when it comes to it. Went extremely healthy last night with Shabu Shabu but then ruined it was an Ice Cream Trifecta of fattness while watching Hide & Seek.
Dietting shall continue! It's the home stretch towards Wedding #2 so it's time to dust off the pinstripe pants, wash the purplish shirt and fast for a few days so I'll look decent in them. Aaaah, dieting - how I hate you.
It's 2 am, I'm bored, and apparently a couple people actually enjoy reading this - which qualifies as motivation to me - so I bring to you the return of SUMMER DIET BLOG 2005, now 57% more super than before!
A lot has happened since the last time we wrote and/or read (depending on if I'm me or you). The diet turned out great for awhile, dropped 10 pounds in a couple weeks, was going to the gym regularly, eating well - all that diety jazz. Then we hit a 21st birthday roadblock, followed by a wedding boulder in the road (damn you, chicken Wellington!) and all sorts of falling off the wagon.
BUT! We're back on track! Day 1 of SUPER SUMMER DIET 2005 (its super now, hence day one again - you're following, right?)! This was celebrated by having NINTY-SEVEN PERCENT FATLESS! Hebrew national hot dogs, baking CARB SMART~! wheat bread and a CAKE (whoops!). Yea ok, not the greatest start - but I am full.
Check back here for more sporadic postings, brought to you by Gauntlet: Dark Legacy (the OFFICIAL time consumer, sleep defier and procrastination tool of the makers of SUPER SUMMER DIET BLOG 2005~!)
Why two days in one post, you ask? Because sometimes I get alittle too SUMMER DIET 2005!!!y to be able to post everyday. That's why!
These two days were somewhat exercisely challenged. Day Two was none whatsoever, while Day Three was graced with a trip to the gym for ellipticalling and biking. 10 and 20 minutes respectively! Then, when working out looked grim for Day Three, I came home and busted out the Chris St. Clair Super Old School SUMMER DIET 2001!!! Garage Workout of various sit-ups and liftin! Burn was felt, baby!
On the eating front: I don't remember! I seem to remember a bagel that was cursed with the evilist of evil bread products....CREME CHEESE (the official bagel un-healthier of SUMMER DIET BLOG 2005!!!) Lots of health-tastic fruit was had. Probably more but I have no time for this blog right now as I am so SUPER DIETY!
I hope you all are enjoying reading this as I am doing it, my little dietites...
And away we go. First off, I'd like to thank everyone who left a comment with their well wishes on the first day. You and I, my dieting sisters, shall prevail over the buldge!
Day one began in the wee hours of the morning, in which Jacqueline and I decided to go for a walk. Not just a regular walk, a SUMMER DIET 2005!!! walk. To State College we ventured, rounded the bend at Dorothy, turned upwards on Acacia, up to Skyline, followed by a series of streets which could collectively be known as "we were lost". Daves street (in which we rested to play with an Oriental cat for half an hour), back on down Dorothy, with a quick jaunt on Victoria for the home stretch. All in all, we walked for two and a half hours & covered a hell of alot of ground.
On the eating front of SUMMER DIET 2005!!!, I prevailed fairly well today. I started the day with a Rockst*r energy drink, but DIET!!!ing it up so as to only add 10 calories to my day. For lunch....watermelon from the shady fruit vendor outside of work. It was tasty. For dinner (and dinner 2....whoops!) was Chinese Food but was fairly good in that respect by only eating a small portion and only drinking water (the official liquid sponsor of SUMMER DIET 2005!!!).
As the night carried on, I slipped a bit with some beer while player Dominos, but it was Bud Light (officially NOT a sponsor of SUMMER DIET 2005!!!). From a can, no less! Piss water, I drink thee. But it's healthier than, say, yummy Newcastles.
Came home, went to bed and thus officially concludes day one of SUMMER DIET BLOG 2005!!!.
